So its been a year for Mykel and I! Fastest year ever! I cant even believe it! I love him more now than I did when I married him! Our life is changing like CRAZY and we are both just along for the ride!

 Mykels new hair cut!

Mykel all the sudden thinks he needs a change with his regular hair do! All the boys here in Beaver are on this really big kick of like steps or stars or somthing shaved into the sides of their heads..I mostly think its their awesome hair dressers fault! (Kels) Its kind of funny you can totally tell whos hair Kelsie does because they all have something funky in their hair! Its kind of fun and most of them look really good! Since everyone was doing it Myke thought he would join the group so this is what he ended up with! He has a mowhawk too you just cant tell in this picture! The funny thing is when I started dating Mykel he always had a mowhawk so I actually really like it on him! In Beav its usually a mowhawk, something funky on the side, or a mullet...SO ill take the mowhawk and funky over a mullet anyday!

 

House Hunting...

Well we started the house hunt and well...it hasnt gone so well yet! I told our realitor here in town that I need a house that doesnt need alot of work! Mykel is not a DIY-er and neither am I so we need a house that is totally move in ready! That being said there are 5 houses in our price range that need no work at all! Not many to choose from! We liked the 2 of them the most but not necessarily loved! We ended up putting an offer in on one of them and they counter offered more than their asking price?!? Say WHAT?! Crazy so that made it a no! So now Mykel and I dont know what we are going to do! House hunting/buying is super stressful!

 

 

Addy Hoo Hoo

Well Addy and I have been able to spend alot of time together! When I work nights I tend her in the mornings and when I work mornings I pick her up and tend until her mom gets off! We have a ball together! She is just like Kelsie so sometimes she is a pain but you cant help but love her to pieces! She is this huge baby when it comes to painting her nails! She used to let us do it all the time then she just stopped and has gone months without letting us! Well finally I talked her into it! YAY me! She looks so cute with her little nails and toes painted! She Wanted me to take a picture and send it to her mom and dad so they could see how pretty her nails and toes looked!

 

Anyways there is a little update on whats been going on..Not much but just an update!

Our 1 year Anniversary is almost here! I am so excited we have a way busy month in front of us so we will see how that goes!

LiFe!

Well I havent updated in a REALLY long time so I thought I better! Life for Mykel and I has been so CRAZY this past little while! We are both super over whelmed with the new jobs and we are both trying so hard to adjust to those!
Mykel so far likes his job! He was hired to do Cheese Production and Milk Recieving but he LOVES to make cheese! I think it must be because there are like 30 people who stand around this big tub and gossip and where hes such a social butterfly it fits him! He had to do Milk Recieving for the first time yesterday ALONE and he was FrEaKiNg out! He told me he was going to quit because he couldnt do it (this was way before he even had to go). Well he got home yesterday and survived! He said it wasnt that bad which im soooo glad because I dont think I could handle him getting another new job! He is also working at the new gas station in town "Spirit" selling tires! He hasnt made much money but he will learn im sure! The whole insurance issue is stressful! Mykel set it all up himself and boy I have been stressed about that! I have to tell ya a funny story about that! So Mykel hasnt been to the dentist since we have dated (which is 2 and 1/2 years) and so we got our insurance cards in the mail so I called and made him an appointment! Well I just assumed that they had 1 insurance that was the same with medical and dental..well it isnt! Mykel is in the chair getting xrays and I was filling out all of the paper work and the lady calls to verify and we have a different type of insurance for dental! AFTER Mykel was already in the chair! I walk in and tell him and he says "oh yeah I forgot to tell you that part" well DUHHH Mykel! lol I should have went to set up our insurance lol! Sometimes that boy I swear! haha! I was so embarrassed, luckily they just told us to come back when our insurance would pay!
Work for me has been kind of crazy! I love what I do, which suprises me, but I really enjoy working at the desk! BUT I REALLY miss the lab! If I could get a full time job there I would totally take it!
Its a mess at the desk right now though, the lady making the schedule is still learning and its a total mess! I work alot of nights and weekends which really sucks! I guess thats what being new is all about but it still sucks! I feel like I hardly ever see Mykel! He works from 4a.m. until 12p.m. and I work from 3 p.m. until 12 or 12:30 a.m. So I am will mykel like 6hrs a day total and half the time we are sleeping! It really sucks but im sure it will change here shortly!
Other than work our lives are good! We are still trying to get this house hunting figured out! It takes alot longer to get pre approved than I thought but we are hoping for the best! Hopefully we can get this all figured out in the next little while so we can move out of my parents house! I definitely feel like its time! haha! We have been here for almost 6 months now and its time to go! Hopefully the next time I blog im blogging about a new house?!? :)
Mykel has slowed down on the golfing which is good because we save alot of money! haha! He played in the night golf tournament a few weeks ago and that was a blast! I just went and rode around and it was such a good time! There were tons of people playing so it was kind of crazy but still a blast! Mykel hasnt ever played in night golf and so he loved it! He played on a team with my Mom, my Dad, and Tyson! He cant wait until next year!
The hunts are coming up so this is a super busy time for my family! Mykel bought himself a spike elk tag and he has a deer tag and the bear and lion season is going to be coming up so he has a really busy fall! Mckensie has a bow tag which is good so she can hurry and get one since she should be delievering during the rifle hunt! I cant even wait for her to have her baby! I think I am more excited than they are! Everytime I go shopping I look at the baby clothes more than I look at clothes for myself! Her baby shower is coming up pretty soon so I keep telling myself I need to hold off until then!
I have been tending Addy alot lately and boy oh boy she is drama! lol! This kid kills me! Kelsie and her are too much alike so it makes for a SUPER entertaining day! As I am typing they are fighting about doing Addys hair! Addy thinks she is on the phone with her mom and its really Kelsie! She wanted to call her mom so we told her Kelsies phone number and she called it! lol She had no idea it was Kelsie on the other end! haha! I have never laughed so hard in my whole entire life! That kid is hilarious!
Good lord I have typed alot! ha! anyways ta-ta for now!

CrAzY!

Well...long time no blog!! I was doing so good there for a while but I have been slipping! I better step it up! There has been so much going on lately! Life has gotten CrAzY!

Golf seems to be the BIG thing around our family lately! Everyone has been going which has been so fun! Mykel goes ALOT and its starting to get out of hand but what do ya do ;) He loves it and lately Tyson and Mykel have been going alot together which is good for both of them! These are some pictures from a few weeks ago when my mom, dad, Addy, Kelsie, Kensie, and I went golfing! Kens and I didnt golf so we just drove everyone around! Addy has such a ball when she goes! she has pink plastic clubs and she cant quite figure out if she should hit it right handed or left so its hilarious to watch!

We got bored alot waiting for people so we took some pictures together!

I look like a total creeper but Kensie is cute!

(For everyone who reads Kensies blog! she said a few weeks ago she looked like a beached whale and I am here to testify that she is totally lying! She is seriously so cute! She is such a good momma and I cant wait to meet ******* Barney..whatever his name will be!)

So Here is an update on Mykel and I! We are still living down in my parents basement! Its not as bad as I thought it would be! My mom is a huge help with Mykel since I have been having a crazy schedule she is making sure he has a lunch ready and stuff! Im so glad I have her to help! Mykel started a new job last week at DFA and so far he loves it! He is in cheese production now! lol I think he eats more of the cheese than he bags!! He likes the guys he works with and he loves that he doesnt have to drive so far everyday! Its nice for me because I can have peace of mind that he isnt driving home when he is tired or late at night! He has a really nice schedule so far! We arent sure he will stay making cheese or if he will switch to milk recieving so if he switches he will have a different schedule! So far he works from 4am-12pm and Its nice! (other than he has golfed everyday since!) I am kind of in a mess with my jobs right now! I just got a job at the Emergency Room desk here at our hospital and I was just a prn position then i got the 20 hour position and now I think im getting the full time positon! This has all happened within a week so things are really crazy for me! I am training down there and still trying to work in the lab and help my mom! Its CRAZY! Hopefully I will find out this week if I willl get the full time position so I can get my life figured out! Its kind of sad I feel like I barely see Mykel! I came home from work this morning and got in bed about 2 and he wakes up to go to work at 330! I guess thats what lifes about!! Mykel and I tried to start on the house hunt and well...that didnt go as planned! We are still UBER young so its okay our time will come! Mykel is DEAD set on a rhino atv thing and so I think he is gonna get one of those! I wasnt to convinced when he said he wanted to get one now..BUT..we went for a ride in my mom and dads the other day and had a blast together! My mom and dad live in the prime location to every good trail on the mountain so we can just leave from the house! I think thats all thats new with us! Just crazy busy right now but hopefully things will start to slow down!

2012 Cousins Open Golf Tournament!

First Annual Cousins Open Golf Tournament!

This was so fun! They planned to do this at Christmas and said we would do it June 16th. Usually when they say things like this..they NEVER end up doing it but this one they did! My mom was in charge and we had a blast doing it! It was really fun for the kids because we dont know all of these guys so it was fun to get to know them and their kids! They had some pretty funny stories of the things they did together back in the day which is always good black mail! lol! There ended up being 24 of us who golfed! We took up all of the golf course pretty much! It was so loud but so fun! We played a scramble and then played this string game! My mom split everyone up into teams of 4. I played with my uncle David, Terry, and Gene and they were a HOOT! We totally thought we were kicking major butt! We were two under and all we kept saying is there is no way anyone will beat us! We thought every little decision out so we could win, and we get back to the club house and somehow...My mom, dad, Meranda, and Clay were 6 under....CHEATERS! I dont know how they did it but some how they had to! After we all finished golfing we came up to my moms house for a BBQ to mingle and it was a blast as well! I cant wait until next years tournament!

Memorial Day!

Memorial Day Weekend...Heck Ya!

Not only do I love all the events that come with Memorial Day but I sure do love the 3 day weekend! On Saturday was the Gillins Party so after that we ended the night with the UFC fights with all my mom and dads friends! Its always a good time! Mykel loves to watch the fights we hardly ever miss! My mom knows how to throw a party for sure so we always have a bunch of goodies which keeps me entertained!! Plus she has some pretty wild friends who are also VERY entertaining!! ha! 

Sunday Mykel ended up working ALL DAY so I hung out with Kels. My family from Salt Lake were down so we spent some time at Marias with them! I keep telling myself I need to quit eating out, BUT, I cant miss out on a good time?! Especially Marias!! I feel like when family comes down thats probably on the top list of best excuses so I totally dont feel bad about going this time!

Monday came around way to fast! The bear hunt is coming to and end so Mykel hunts bear with the Gale Boys every chance he has. Mykel hunted that morning and while he hunted I worked! Whats up with that?! Finally it was time for the Horse Races (or as Kelsie would say..PONY DIGS!) I love going to the horse races! I have no idea why either. I dont really care to watch the horses run but maybe because it was such a huge event to go to when I was little so I just grew comfortable with it! Its also an excuse to wear something other than my Mels shirt! haha! Mykel on the other hand could care less about going to the horse races! I feel like I have to drag him there! He did get in on a bet and won so after he had twenty bucks extra in his wallet he was a little more "chipper" about being there! After the "pony digs" we headed to the house for a BBQ! Like I said before my mom knows how to throw a party!!  Everyone comes up weather invited or not its just tradition! Its always a good time! Nothing better than watching people forget just about everything that they know just for the evening! LOVE IT!

Anyways the weekend was wonderful! So much fun! Just wish it would of lasted longer!

  

80th Birthday Party!

On Saturday Mykel and I headed down to Minersville for Lil Waynes (Grandpa) 80th Birthday Party! Mikes (Mykels dad) brothers and sisters have been planning this for a while and all of the family was coming from all over for this! Mykel has a cousin in Alaska and one in Missouri and even they came for this event! Mike has 7 brothers and sisters, so once you have them, their kids, and their kids kids, we ended up with over 150 people! They decided to do family pictures since everyone was there...what a mess! lol Mikes sister decided that each family should wear their own color, so there was red, blue, black, grey, white, lime green, and blue camo <--- we wore this..DISASTER!

They were already ugly shirts and on top of that they fit so weird! I was soo uncomfortable! Mykels family was talking a while ago about this and that we needed to pick a color to wear. We talked about white or yellow and then someone suggested camo. There are hundreds of shades of camo so instead of saying a specific brand they decided BLUE camo! FOR FAMILY PICTURES HELLO! Is this not crazy to anyone but me! When they brought up the camo idea I thought it was a joke I really did think they were kidding until they brought me our shirts! lol!

Anyways we had a blast! I havent met the majority of his family so it was nice to meet them! They have a huge family but it was such a good time! Im glad we were able to go down and hang out with them!
