LONG TIME!!

   I cant believe it has been this long since I have updated my blog! HOLY COW! lol! Things have been so crazy for us lately! We moved in with my parents in March to save some money and pay off all our bills and we are still here now! It definitely isnt as bad as I thought it would be. Its kind of embarrassing still when people ask where we live lol BUT its helped us out so much! There is no way we could have made it through TAX season without movin in! For that reason I am so grateful for my parents! (taxes suck! I never knew all this big kid stuff could cost so much!)

Mykel still works at the dairy for his uncle and I am still working at Mel's and a little bit at the hospital! My mom got this CRAZY idea to do the concessions at the little leage games this year so that keeps us pretty busy also! lol I have to share, Mykel was so mad when my mom offered to do the concessions because he knows that it was going to be a 'TEAM" effort! He swore he would come but NEVER help anyone he just wants to sit in the back and make snow cones! Boy was he wrong, he helps more kids than any of us do! Its hilarious to see him working at a concession stand!

    Back to the BIG KID STUFF! I never knew how much things actually cost until now! Mykel and I have horrible luck at the moment! Mykel calls me the other day and asks "Are you busy, we have a little problem." I had a million things running through my mind! I was thinking he was hurt, he lost one of our dogs, he wrecked his truck, I had a million of the worst case sinerios running through my mind! Finally after a LONG pause I said, "no, whats going on, are you okay?" The conversation goes on and come to find out Mykels truck is broken! Something that holds the tire is broken and if the part isnt fixed then he could wreck his truck or what not! The bad part is the part and the labor were over 400.00! holy cow! Mykel has put more money in that stupid truck than its worth! My heavens! Anyways we get the part fixed and then its no big deal all is forgotten until 3 days ago Mykel pulls in from work and notices the tire on his truck is FLAT! some how he got a HUGE hole in his side wall of the tire and when its in the side wall it cant be fixed which meant MORE MONEY! Mykel since he worked at the tire shop he has to have the BEST of the  BEST when it comes to tires...these particular ones and 250 a piece!!! Mykel will honestly be the death of me! lol That boy and his truck!

  Life is good anyways! I hope to blog again soon so I can keep up with this blogging world! lol!

Weekend at the Jazz Vs. Heat Game!

So it has been FOREVER since I have updated, (Mckensie can now stop nagging about how I never update ;)) which is why I was so excited for this weekend so I could take pictures and update! I guess I have alot to catch up on so this may be a long one! Mykel turned 20 on the 1st that fell on a Thursday which means mens basketball. UGH! I canceled all my plans that night because of course its his birthday I thought I would spend the evening with him, but he thought other wise! He left to go play basketball as I was secretly pissed because I CANT be mad at him on his birthday! So I went got in the shower and dried my hair ya know so I looked a wreck (if you know me or my hair..you know exactly what I am talking about) and its about 10:00pm and I get a phone call from Mykel, He said he had an accident playing ball and he thought he had broken his foot and needed help inside! So I rush out to help thinking its some stupid sick joke...um no! He can barely walk so he hobbles in sits down and we decide to go to the Emergency Room. (just our luck! for only being married 5 months we have tons of medical bills) So they do the X-Rays and its not broken but he did pull all the ligaments which they say is sometimes worse! After all this drama Mykel says he is NOT missing out on the game so we went to the game which was soo fun, and stressful for me! My cousins; Meranda, Danton, and Dray went with us and we had a ball! We left on Friday and went up to Cabelas first, of course, then went to the mall to find Danton and Dray a shirt, then headed to the motel to get ready. Instead of driving we went and got on the Trax, which was a marvelous idea! BTW Do you guys know how hard it is to guard a crippled man while walking down town Salt Lake? WHOA! people do not pay attention up there! After getting downtown I didnt have Meranda, Danton, or Drays help to guard Mykels poor foot, because we had different seats so we had to part our seperate ways! Mykel and I sat on the 17th row in the lower bowl which was so fun! Mykel has never been to a Jazz game and I did once when I was little so we figured if we are going to go we better make it worth our time! We had so much fun! I love Dwayne Wade and MMM he is much better looking in person! :) Here are some pics from our weekend!

Over all it was such a fun weekend! Im so glad we went! I cant wait to go to the next Heat game to watch the Heat beat the Jazz..They may have lost this time but they sat Lebron half the game so thats my excuse for them loosing! lol!

New Tile For The Rental!

Well so not a whole lot has been going on with Mykel and I but there has been ALOT going on with our little appartment! Les ( my landlord/boss) promised me that if I moved into this rental he had that he would fix the crappy floor! It was bad and definitely needed the work but Les doesnt always remember his promises so I wasnt holding my breath when we got the place, BUT it was the cheapest we had found so I decided that I would just bug Les until he did it! Well finally 2 months later he decided he would! This man named Jeff, who has done all the tile for Les in his many houses, (which are beautiful) was going to do mine! So he came and took a look at the place and said 3 days for the bathroom, and an additional 4 for the kitchen! So Mykel and I figured we could handle it..THINK AGAIN! He came and did the bathroom on the Monday before Thanksgiving and just completely finished it FRIDAY!! HOLY COW! Let me just quickly mention that my bathroom is serously 5 tiles long and 4 wide..um wow! my kitchen which he said would take 4 days..took him 2 WEEKS! I wanted to so badly yell at this man but...he is just one of those guys that you hate to love! He really is a sweet man he is just SOOO SLOWWW!! Not to mention I walked into my house on Thursday and he was LOUNGING BACK IN MY RECLINER...UM...I honestly about died! All I can say now is that I am so thankful that it is finally done! What a mess but the tile is soo nice now! Other than this minor disaster Mykel and are doing well! We are both still working and enjoying the newlywed life!  I plan to start school online as soon as possible so I can get my C.L.T and start working full time at the hospital and Mykel is just enjoying working at the dairy and at the Shell!

Starting Christmas...

I know this is so cheesy but I was so excited for Christmas this year because its all my own stuff! I love the fact that I did the tree myself and picked out every thing and all the little wall decorations! Its so fun to me! We decided to put it up on Friday so we could enjoy it a little longer than usual..well me enjoy it not really Mykel..he could care less! haha!

Anyways these are my cute little signs that light up which I am soo proud of! I show them to everyone who comes to my house!!

I made these myself! I have been looking at Pinterest and it makes me want to be crafty so i started small to see if im capable of painting..I love them so I think I can handle painting! Now i can move onto BIGGER painting projects!

Im so anxious to see what I got from Mykel this year! I thought he would forget or just not do anything and he knows I want SOMETHING..not big or small..Just something to know he knows what to do! hahahahaha! I know this sounds silly but thats so Mykel to not do anything for a holiday! Like for my birthday last year he didnt do ANYTHING! I know I sound greedy but even a card would be nice! haha! anyways back onto subject I found out my sisters have been helping him out and that I am getting something! IM SO EXCITED!! I feel like a little Kid again! Mykel this year is definitely getting spoiled like he always does so I hope he will enjoy the things I got him! Well...Happy Holidays Everyone!

Um..Can You Say SCATTER BRAIN?!?!

Well I dont have any pictures to post but I guess I will post anyways! Mckensie says I dont EVER update but i'll show her! haha!! I guess I will just catch you up on our life as newlyweds! Its still so crazy to think that he is my HUSBAND now! Its so crazy and so weird getting used to but I LOVE it! Never living with boys (besides my dad) and then living with Mykel is a huge change for me. The toilet seat thing...completely new to me, along with Mykel not changing the roll of TP after using all of it, leaving his dirty dishes in the sink with the dishwasher is empty, leaving his dirty clothes scattered all over my clean floors, leaving 10 pair of shoes at my front door and only wearing the ones in his closet, him coming home from the barn with cow poop all over his pants and walking through each room in the house, and taking off his socks inside out and leaving them for me to fix when I wash..as you can see its a BIG change for me! All guy things I'm sure, but totally new to me!! I say this all the time but you marry one guy and live with another! I've never seen this side of him! haha! I absolutely love him tho! For some weird reason I love being "the little house wife"! I dont mind doing his laundry or cleaning up after him...SOMETIMES! I thought with me getting married that would be the hard part for me but its come so much easier than I thought!...ANYWAYS! I am stilll working for my mom at Mel's and a couple days at the hospital! I work in the mornings and am off by 2 or 3 but for some reason I still feel like my life is super busy! Mykel works at the Dairy and at the Shell and he REALLY does stay busy! He loves to play mens league basketball so he plays as often as he can! His brother Reggie drew out for Lion this year so Mykel is on the search for the biggest and baddest tom! haha! He is so excited for his brother so I really hope they get lucky! Our lives are pretty simple..things have actually been pretty easy..knock on wood! A couple little fights but they have only brought us so much closer! Neither one of us have slept on the couch bed so I feel like we are doing pretty dang good! We live in a duplex here in Beaver and well...it kinda sucks! First off im HOME hungry..I want my own place to paint and decorate and so that already pushes it but I have a while to wait for that..BUT our neighbors kinda suck! We dont have a garage that seperates the two houses so we hear everything that they do! Their bedroom is seperated with a wall from our bedroom...ugh!!.. The woman listens to the loudest most authentic mexican music I have ever heard..ALL DAY LONG! When the husband comes home its straight up gangster! and on top of all that...you hear their kids crying..which is good for me because it steers me far FAR away from the thought of kids! 11p.m. is late for 2 kids under the age of 5 right? not for this family..they are up atleast til 1 or 2 which is really hard for Mykel when he has to work the early morning shift at the barn! hopefully we find a new place soon tho! Mykel is anxious for tons of new things for Christmas but he has enough to last the next couple years so I dont have to think of new ideas next year either! ha!!! Mckensie and I decided to be daring today and experiment with our hair! We love the idea of the new instyle center part...a.k.a..the BUTT CRACK! You see it on everyone now days and we were both a little nervous to try but I think it turned out well so if you see either of us in the next while with a slight difference you know what it is! Also if we look like goobers, let us know! I did have a birthday over the weekend tho! I turned 19..whoa! and of course I got spoiled the hubby bought me a new coat, my mom got me some clothes and some amazing shoes! I love birthdays because of Cake! I have a MAJOR sweet tooth! I feel like I have been Blabbing on forever so I guess i'll wrap this up....

Wedding

Our wedding was such an AMAZING day! Something I willl NEVER forget! Everyone thought that I was crazy when I said I wanted to get married in 6 weeks instead of our initial date of Feburary 17th, but I'm so glad we decided to move it up! I cant imagine myself waiting any longer! The weather was great considering it was the end of September and in Beaver thats like the worst part of winter usually BUT the weather was perfect! I couldnt have asked for a more perfect day!!

 

 My cute groom! So anxiously waiting! I loved it when I was getting ready Kelsie kept coming up saying "I have never seen Mykel so nervous before, he is like pacing back and forth." Hearing that made me nervous! I myself have never seen Mykel nervous and knowing that he was nervous was making me more nervous! I was already freaking that I would fall down in my heels or cry so hard I wouldnt be able to stop and on top of ALL that..Mykel was nervous whos never nervous which was WAY TOO MUCH ADDED NERVOUSNESS!!!

Addy was soo sick on the day of the wedding but she wouldnt skip out on "throwin flowers on the floor!" Im so glad she got to be apart of my wedding as my beautiful flower girl! I love this girl!!
